        One thing that may be taking a few HP away is the cold air ram air kit. The barn door mass air needs a velocity stack to work correctly. If you look at the stock air box they all had one. When I was running a kit like that I made my own stack out of some intercooler pipe and welded it to the adpater that mounts up the mass air.

          ^ Truth. Your low end suffers without that trumpet shaped piece that comes in the airbox. I custom made my own smooth transition piece inside of the AFM adapter with a nice gradual transition from the round adapter to the square AFM inlet. I didn't notice any losses when switching intakes with this custom piece like you do normally.
