e motor with super e harness injectors?

I want to install an e motor with super e harness and brain...I would guess that I need to use the super e injectors on the e manifold, what else? I search, could not find any info...

The reason for this is I want updated motronics with flywheel sensors, does that make any sense?

    Thanks

    Al

Why would you want that? Either go one way or the other.

Not a good idea. The ETA and SETA motors have different characteristics and thus require an engine management system tuned to those characteristics.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Well, Al, if you still want to do this, search google for the eta specific motronic 1.1/1.3 conversion guide. You will find a list with all the parts to run updated electronics on your eta.

In my opinion, go to the yard and steal everything off a 325i (cylinder head and all related equipment for motronic 1.3) and build yourself a fun car.

Exactly what I would do. Do the full i top end and electronics and you'll have something with decent power that can actually rev!

                  Hey Guys

Thanks for the info, here is why I am wondering about this, have a 24 hour race coming up, have 3 eta motors do not want to burn up one of my SPEC e30 i motors running chumpcar....have all the parts from the Super E we ran in the SCCA 13 hour at VIR last year...so I have this stuff laying around, what I do not have is a trans with the sensor holes for the e...or the sensor's on the single mass flywheel.

                  Thanks

Seems to me you have three possible solutions. One would be to get an ETA compatible transmission, another would be to make a budget stroker (M20B25 AFM, FPR, intake, injectors, head, harness, and DME) and the last would be to use a SuperETA harness & DME. An ETA engine isn't going to run right with the SuperETA management system, but it will run better than if you use the harness and DME from an M20B25. Of those three I'd go for the "budget stroker".
