    Aftermarket Radiator?

My current radiator took some damage in the accident I was in forever ago. Does not leak or anything, but since part of it has been some what smooshed… It probably is not running as well as it should. And I know most people will say, just go oem. Which I know is an option… But are there any good aftermarket radiators out there? I'd rather be safe than sorry and just throw in a new unit. Thanks guys.

Car by the by is an '86 es

Everyone will tell you to go with an OEM one. The one in your car lasted for 24 years.

no, actually there are other options I would reccomend. there are plenty of people using aftermarket radiators. Mishimoto, C&R Racing, Ireland Engineering, Etc.. aluminum will always be better than plastic. it's worth the money if you're due for one.

        I have a Mishimoto piece.

Was cheap, and a dramatic difference was noted.

        Plus it looks cool.
        My previous build (currently E30-less)

Yes haha where? I've seen Mishimoto before. But it said the only option was for e30 m3's… And being generally useless I dont know if its the same ;)

does Moshimoto make a radiator for an early setup? The OP said he has an '86, so unless he's going to be using a late waterpump setup...

My buddy had issues with fitment. it wasn't tall enough for him to use the plastic piece on top that helps hold it in place. it didn't really matter though b/c his samco silicone hoses hold it in place pretty damn well, lol. Seems to be working fine on his turbo m20.
