I have a 1984 325e and was thinking of replacing my AFM...My question is what AFM's are compatible? Would a 1986 528e's AFM work on my 84 325e? Any others?

yes...84-87 325/e/eS and 82-86 528e. The airbox and filter updated in 86. Just remove the flange from your old AFM before you throw it out...you will need it if you are reusing your airbox."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
