    ICV Help

so i got my e30 back on road today . installed a new battery and waterpump .. i drove it al day then took her to gas station and after filling when i left it shut off like a vacume leek occured so i opend hood and cranked it with icv unplugged and it fired but died.. so i figured icv failed in position for cold start .. i let it cool off and it started right up... wen i got home i unplugged the icv and the idle did not change at all .. does this meen it failed ??? i think it was going bad cuz it would often show symptoms of a bad icv .. wats best route of fixing this if im on a very tight budget as the waterpump new rad and battery killed me plus i just bought a jeep SMH

No change when you unplug the ICV could be be caused by a bad or sticky ICV, a bad TPS, intake leaks, a bad DME (or on an ETA car a bad Idle Control Module).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
