I am tying up some loose ends and swapping my 2.7i setup (w/ IE 272 billit cam, hd rockers, 19lb injectors). Soon planning on chip and headers maybe boost down the road. While im here its only common sense to put a new clutch kit in. I wanted to know what everyone would recomend for this current setup. Sachs seems to be a popular name but i think i want somthing with more beef. I had a Spec stage 3 on my Contour SVT and was very pleased with it, but its a bit out of my budget this year. Currently I have my eye on the IE 228mm HD setup but i dont know anybody running this or reviews...

Put a stock clutch in it. they hold up just fine and it will still be nice to drive.1988 E30 335i - 1987 E30 327i - 1987 E30 327iS Pickup - 1973 2002 Project

You wont need anymore than stock... Stock clutches can be good for up to 230hp, even 250, but it all comes down to what you plan on doing with the car... Like for example, drifting, stock wouldn't be a good candidate, it most definitely couldn't handle the heat cycle.Originally posted by audiquattrotbimmers b4 b*tches....remember that.

Right now I have the b25 setup in my car, I read somewhere that the super eta block and the i block are the same as far as clutches and flywheels without modifying.
As far as driving this car, I do plan on driving aggressively, drifting/ auto x. With that in consideration what is the next clutch upgrade?
