    Car died...need help

Sunday night while i was driving in town car just shut off. It wouldn't start back up. Since then have been checking things out. Fuel pump is good, replaced sparks plugs, replaced coil, i'm getting spark. Still nothing, i just got a crank sensor in and will replace it tomorrow but, if that doesn't work then i don't know what else it could be. Anyone have any tips, this happen to anyone else before? Thanks

Have you checked to see if the timing belt broke?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ecu? Those are signs of a bad ecu when it cranks over but won't fire.

Was thinking that also. Would it be possible to swap it from another e30 just to test it out? How much of a pain in the a$$ is that?

ECU's can be swaped in like 5 minutes, it's easier then changing your wheels. Crank it over for like 10 seconds then pull a plug and see if there's fuel on it. Just because your pumps good doesn't mean the filter is or the injector coils are opening. Give it a try hope it helps.

swapped ecu's with my boss' e30 and still nothing. The plugs have on them. Now my guy said there seems to be low spark.

hopefully tomorrow we will be able to take it apart and look at the belt itself. I have heard couple of cars with blown timing belts, and even searched for videos of e30's with blown belts, and they all sound the same while trying to crank. Mine doesn't sound like that, sounds normal when it's cranking.

With the rotor cap off you can see the timing belt. Does it turn?
