    M20 headbolts, no washer.

I ordered a set of headbolts and they came with no washers, are the washers neccesary? Are the old ones reusable?

they are reusable. I recommend using them so you don't dig into the head when you torque the bolts down.

dont believe you will ever get accurate torque without them.

as mentioned above they are necessary; I had a incident where I got a car with a leaking head gasket. The head was bolted down without washers and suspect that "if" it was torqued properly which I doubt it was resulted in the bolts digging into the bolt hole surface of the head and causing the torq specs to be off later resulting in a leak.

are the valve cover nuts supposed to have washers? its a good point how torque specs will be thrown off if washers are missing
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
