    e30 with wet plugs

My 1988 3325i was burning up fuel pumps due to rust on the tank so I dropped the tank and acid washed and sealed it. I put it back together with a new walbro 255255 pump and now my plugs are wet and its running really rich. So much I can smell gas bad and I have to step away. If you have any ideas what it could be please let me know
thanks it has a cold air intake but that's it. The rest is stock.

Why the Walbro 255 if your engine is stock?

It could be a clogged fuel return line.

Sure, smaller ETA injectors, lower fuel pressure, stock fuel pump. Also make sure your coolant temp sensor's resistance is within spec for the temperature.

If this guy is really recommending that you swap to eta injectors, this is really bad advice. It doesn't address the root problem at all.
