    my car sounds like this..... but more valve ticking -_- i dont have time to do a valve adj yet. what do you guys think

          Sounds like way to much valve clearance. Adjust at the lobes, you may have worn rockers/ eccentrics. Or your last adjustment had a mishap. The more you drive like that, it will wear faster. GL

            not loud enough for a valve/piston event

            When my M20 skipped time it literally sounded as loud as, and just like a goddamn diesel.

            Sounds like yours just has dire need of a valve adjustment.

              take off your valve cover and make sure none of the rockers have slipped out of the guides. happened to my buddy's car, sounded very similar.
              1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug
              1989 LN106 Hilux / 3.0TD SFA
              1974 2002tii / stock
              2002 IS300 / 5spd LSD
