Engine Won't Turn Over? Help Please

So I bought a '90 325i, drove it home, parked it for a month while I was on a work trip, and now it won't start. Like won't even turn over, or try. Put power to the battery, turn the key, dash makes weird buzzing sound but no clicks or other engine sounds.

    So far I have tried:
    Replacing relays
    Replacing starter
    Swapping DME's

No luck. What else should I be trying?

    Thanks

        Start simple.

Does the solenoid click for the starter? or nothing. checking for power at the solenoid is a start

Is it cold by you. Maybe your battery isnt putting enough cranking amps even if it is reading correct voltage. This happened to me even when I tried to jump it i'd get nothing.

+1 Steven, start with the source of all juice. Swap in your 'vert battery!

try the obc relay. unplug it and jump the green and green/red stripe wires.

i had a similar situation and this is what it was for me. very odd and incredibly uncommon. most likely not your problem, but worth a shot.

Interesting... it is fairly cold here currently. Would the battery still be an issue if I have it plugged into the charger?

The solenoid does not click. How do I go about finding out if there is power to it? I need to call some friends that know about wiring...

                Thanks for your responses guys

check to make sure the ground is firmly attached, located at the oil pan, driverside side over to the frame rail..if its broken or loose, not connected it will not start.

if the solenoid doesn't click you're not getting juice at the solenoid and replacing your starter was a waste of time/money/effort.

i've never even peaked at the starter, just got my first e30 a month ago :D but there will be a positive wire for 12 volts and a ground wire at the solenoid and that's where you can measure. or hook up a known good source of 12v to hotwire it and if it doesn't click/start car you know the solenoid's toast

Do you have access to a DMM, and possibly a bit of help?
