    What's a cps?

      Crank position sensor, could be. Before you start throwing parts at it, do some research in the M20 section. There is a multitude of parts it could be, from the CPS to the Coolant temp sensor, tho the AFM, to the ICV, to the DME.... ETC ;)
      Shit man, could be a loose ground for all you know.

          Well I'm at a loss I guess I'll just read all night the weird thing is that the car has done this before then starts later but still needs to be fixed.

            mine just did this yesterday. it starts then dies very fast. I just put the pedal to the floor and started it.

              So the car just started and I think I have it pin pointed to the in tank fuel pump.

                  Try cleaning/wacking lightly your ICV.

                      It's either the relay to that fuel pump, wires or the fuel pump. I'm pretty sure this is it because I couldn't hear it when it wouldn't start but when it did start I could hear it.
