    stuck cam

so i took my head to a machine shop and they got all of the valves out of sync so that they would all be flush with the bottom of the head

i have gotten the head back and i can not get the cam to move at all. is it possible that they some how wedged one of the rockers against the cam to the point i cant spin the head at all.... tips on what to do. and i cant just pull harder, i already tried to move it with a pipe wrench

Have you tried turning the cam with the cam gear on it?

EDIT: I am wrong, BUT on cars with camshaft bearing caps, this is common when the bearing caps are not installed in the same orientation and location as they were removed from.

The camshaft bearing surface is line-bored so the bearing caps must be installed in the same orientation and location as they were removed.

Could it be, that maybe you dropped a rock in the head?

            Sorry I had to.

Take some pictures and post it.

You can turn your cam the other way, OR you can use your hand while applying some pressure to the torx bolt and easily rotate the cam counter-clockwise.

                Okay, I am wrong.

This is normally the case on cars with bearing caps though.
