Purchased new fuel pump but not the prob...

my car was having some fuel line problems at first the car would jsut choke a little everyone once and a while and then the other day my car stalled out. it wouldnt start back up again. i figured it was either a clogged fuel filter since it hasnt been changed in years =\

towed it home swapped out the filter and it started right up. same day i drove it back out and stalled it again....

i took out the back seat and check out my pump. everything look good but i decided to try starting it while banging on the pump.. and it finalyl started back up but then within 20 seconds turned off again and had to tow it again...

so i figured my pump is fried...

i picked up a pump from GutenParts yesterday and installed it and yet again to no avail.

its not turning on im guess either
    1. relay is toasted
    2. fuse is toasted
    3. the connectors on the end of the wires connecting tothe pump is bad but they look good to me.

    DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?

Obviously failing fuel pumps blow, ive been down that road. Just check the fuse and the relay is not that like its a difficult task.

another thing is when my old pump was failing, if i would knock on it with a screw driver it would turn on and then off. thats y i figured it was the pump to start with but now this pump doesnt turn on at all. its not a brand new pump it wass used but its almost new maybe itdoesnt work =\

replace the relays (including O2 heater and main relay), as a matter of preventative maintenance. bad relays cause a lot of headaches..
