    Bad throttle position sensor???

Could a bad tps cause slow acceleration and low idle or is there something else that is causing my problem?

    Vacuum leak can be notorious.

That means, well, essentially nothing. There are far more places to have intake leaks that the few hoses that connect to the intake. Have a shop run a smoke test on the intake and fix the leaks it reveals. Also check the operation of the TPS and replace it if either the idle or WOT switch aren't working. Oh yeah, if it has 100k on it, replace the O2 sensor.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
