    like your throttle position sensor.

also, do a smoke test for vacuum leaks.

also, have you checked for fuses dead? you may have re-connected a harness + to a - and created a short on the re-install
from what i understand, one of those is the fuel pump relay, one them the main relay and the other is the 02 sensor relay. Correct?
If so, the fuel pump and 02 relays wouldn't have anything to do with my windows or stereo and if the main one was bad, wouldn't i lose electricity to EVERYTHING? Just checking my info.;)

M20B27 is zero clearance so it would have hit a valve or something right? I would have heard that sort of thing. And plus, When it would rarely fire up, it seemed to run WAY better than it ever has so timing isnt an issue in my opinion.

Use a noid light to check to make sure your injectors are firing/getting signal.

you have an obvious electrical issue if the windows / radio are not working.
                -Start there and move on

Look at the fusebox diagram and see which ones connect to fuse/window - there is no reason replacing engine should create disfunction inside the car. Something on the re-install was incorrectly wired.

No multimeter= shooting in the dark; ghetto south of the boarder style. The BMW E30 was not ordered alongside a chalupa at taco bell.
no multimeter + electrical problem = going to whore house w used rubbers == fail

See if you have POWER at the fuse area first, also can see if you have the crank position sensor and cylinder reference sensor mixed up- car wont start then.

check for +12v at the injectors
also + 12 at the AFM.

how can you assume electrical components are faulty when you don't know for sure they have power?

USE multimeter; throwing an entire junkyard at the car will not solve a electrical (connection of + to a -).

This, had a car where the guy couldn't source his problem, car would not start unless you gave it heavy throttle and then would die, sounds like a dumb question but you never know. Driver side of motor, tube that runs from intake to block.

Problem does seem to be electrical, however. Seeing as your windows and stuff dont work
