88 Super eta refuses to start. Gonna burn it.

Okay, I'll try and explain this as completely as possible but its complicated.
    Here goes...

So i pulled the motor to replace the rear main seal and while i was at it i did the oil pan gasket, the main seal housing gasket and timing belt. All went well.
Replaced the motor and it wouldn't run right. High idle and hella surging. Replaced the icv, plugs, wires and the throttle control. Fixed the surging but still had a bit of high idle and it would cut out while driving. Replaced the cap and rotor, fuel pump and fuel filter. Fixed the cutting out but still had high idle. Plus, it would start only the first turn of the key, run for five minutes and then fall on it's face and die. On top of that, the starter went out.
Considered burning the car to the ground at this point.
After some time, I replaced the starter, o2 and the cps and no change.
Now im at a stand still.

The car will crank but wont fire. I have spark on all cylinders, fuel pressure is good at the rail, and it will RARELY fire up only once till it warms up then dies.
Cam moves when i crank it so not a timing belt broken.
    WTF????
Im almost at the end of my rope here. ANY help is greatly appreciated.

My only thought is that either my injectors are fucked or the dme is shot.
    Does this sound reasonable?

Another issue: I am not getting any power to the heater fan, windows or the stereo.

    Thanks alot guys.

and you said you replace your crank position sensor? cause that is what is sounds like. all your relays good?

bad dme i know can cause idle issues, worth a shot to hook up another

I have no idea what relays to replace or how to test em.
The dme is an orange label 154 that was only in two cars in two years. so im having trouble finding one.

But from my understanding it wouldn't have spark if the dme was bad?

Relays! Grounds! Splices! Check them all. Quick and cheap fixes.... but cause hella problems.

okay, gonna replace ALL relays, check my grounds and splices and report back.
Still tho, my dme ? is valid right?

your dme should be fine. the probably is higher that it is something else.

                  like your throttle position sensor.

also, do a smoke test for vacuum leaks.

I think its a vacuum leak as well. Remember, the whole engine holds a vacuum as well as the gas tank.

                    Have a smoke test run.

OR you can learn to smoke:

I would go back and double check that i plugged everything back right. Check the wire colors. Sounds like one of the sensors are plugged in backwards. Seems odd it ran fine and all of those parts went bad just from pulling the engine and changing rear seals and timing belt.

Do you have a multimeter? check the 3 main relays under the plastic cover by the airbox for power

also, have you checked for fuses dead? you may have re-connected a harness + to a - and created a short on the re-install

I wonder if you timing belt tensioner loosened up enough so that the belt jumped a few teeth and its off now?
