Quick Question on valve stem seals

If a head that was fully rebuilt with new valve stem seals has been sitting around for about 6 months is it good to go or would I have to replace those seals again?

id assume that its good to go man. think about it.... those same seals often sit on a shelf in a shop for up to a year sometimes before they are sold. and before that they are stored in a manifacturing warehouse then shipped often great distances taking weeks before they arrive and then often weeks again before they are put on the shelf for sale.

the only thing that kills them is great amounts of time..... 10's of years, heat and the oil itself that covers them. id say go for it. assuming its all kept clean and dry.
