    E30 Auto Trans Flywheel Order

RealOEM only shows the manual version...

It seemed to only fit one way, and that was

    spacer
    flywheel
    flex plate

Is that correct? I have a screeching noise coming from the flex plate area when i crank the engine. The torque and trans are bone dry though, not sure if that could cause a problem like this

That sounds wrong. I think the order is flywheel, load spreading plate (aka spacer), then flex disk.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        I will double check.

I remember them fitting only one way, and it was either your way or my way.

The flywheel will have one hole bigger than the other. The plate will not. There is no way for the plate to go on under the flywheel. I just went over this, with a spare block, flywheel, etc with Stonersam.
