    injector ?

Can u use chap stick to help get 19lb injectors in to the intake manifold. Mine don't want to go in. Will chap stick fuck up the seal or o ring?

Go to your local swimming pool supply place and ask one of the pool guys for some Magic Lube. It is a Teflon based lubricant that is specifically designed for O-Rings. It lubricates them as well as making them tacking and provide a good suction seal! No lie!

Well I want to get this in tonight so will the lube from my sway bar kit for the bushings work just as well? Any help would be great. The first one went in good but the rest won't move. Any tricks out there?

The main ingredient in chap stick is petroleum, and you want to use it to help get o rings designed to seal fuel injectors for gasoline which is also called petrol, it would probably be fine.

Petroleum based products will eventually erode an oring. Will it erode overnight- doubtful. If you care about it eroding then perhaps use the right product.

You can also use Krytox or Nyogel. If you have a hobby shop nearby that sells RC vehicles then they should carry Team Associated "Green Slime" which is also usable. There is also super-lube.com

Agreed with the oil, I rub it on each injector o-ring with my finger.

ky, believe it or not thats what your dental hygienist uses when she slicks up her rubber gloves and sticks them in your mouth. As a professional mechanic i keep this stuff close at hand because I'm always getting fucked in the ass.
