    M50 tps

I searched but didn't get good info...
When using the M50 TPS on M20 TB do you interchange the O - wires and is the mounting orientation the same as m20 TPS? I have the adapter and ready to install.

The M20 uses a throttle switch, not a potentiometer. What would the point be of putting a potentiometer on there?

^^ M50 TPS is a potentiometer and not a switch. The switch has idle or WOT position switches but the M50 gives a continuously varying signal with changing throttle.

I am running the M50 TPS with my MS unit. It's plug and play but it mounts backwards.

If you're not running aftermarket engine management there's no reason to be installing it though.

For anyone who might have this question now or in future: "you need to switch pins 1 and 2. to orient it the same as the M20 TPS, you have to flip the throttle shaft around 180*. it will fit the other way, but it's a pain to get the connector on there." I got that from a member on E30tech.
