    no spark please help

Alright so i decided to get an e30 and im having issues to get it started. It started before i just replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs dme relay, fuel injection relay. i crank the car to start and the fuel pump works im just not getting spark. is there another relay i should change or are my knock sensor bad. Please help i want to get the car on the road already.

Are you sure you got the right main relay? It should have 5 prongs.

Is power present at the coil positive when the ignition is switched on and does the CEL light up? Do you have spark with the old main relay in place?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

yes it has five prongs and its with the next to only two other relays. theres was no spark at the coil or the spark plugs could it be the crank shaft sensor i dont wanna give up on the car yet

Since the engine ran before you changed the relays, they are the obvious suspects at this point. Put the old relays back in and check for spark.

That's the thing if I out new ones wouldn't it have to start. Besides there's only tree important relay that will
make the car not start correct? The
Main relay, fuel injection relay, and o2 sensor relay

Only the main and fuel pump relay are important w/respect to starting the engine. The O2 heater relay is only used to bring the O2 sensor up to operating temperature quickly and is more related to emissions control.

That makes no sense what so ever.

If the new relays are the correct types and in the correct sockets, then yes.

the relay you bought, does it have TWO 87a prongs? there should be a diagram printed onto the box.

Check battery and check ground connection on side of engine.
