    Intake threw high beam

Does this improve airflow a lot? who recommends it and where can i get the kit from?

    #2
like the cone filters sticking out of the car? you can literally just buy a cone and some extra piping to connect them. it not really anything fancy

i guess that Yes you will get better air flow if it is physically sticking out of the car, but i don't think you are really gonna get any huge gains from it other than noise and some throttle response.

*if you are gonna run one, but have it sit behind the light hole, then you need a proper heat shield

It's silly if you ask me.

Again, that's if you ask me.

Honestly a stock airbox is going to give you the best performance.

the area right in front of the headlight is low pressure. it's not going to do much other than look dumb. there's a slight possibility of colder IATs but that's only a factor if you were running an open cone filter, the stock airbox is just as effective.

If my intake threw my high beam I'd have to put the intake in time out for a bit.

Could not understand the question until I read it out loud...how could an intake "threw" anything?

This is the only reason I see to remove the high beam. Don't want the turbo to suck it into the intake and mangle shit inside the engine.

I had mine removed on my e28 for a bit. That was when I was young and less of an asshole.

Got tired of people asking me where my light went, why was it broken, and what that hole was for.

Seriously though, my high beam did break. I re-installed it and now it doesn't work. -_- I think there's corrosion in the terminals.
