    compression ratio help, decked pistons

im in the process of building a turbo 2.7 using a 731 head and 525e 2.7 bottom end. the bottom end has 10.2:1 compression with the 200 head (so the 731 head should be the same).

i am going to get the standard pistions decked to lower the compression ratio and then ceramic coated.

i want about 9:1 compression. how much should the pistons be decked in order to lower the compression ratio to 9:1?

I'm sure there would be people that would trade for lower compression pistons?

Here is a nice calculator to play with, looks like if you chance the CH of the piston 1.2mm will get it there

uhh, you actually should calculate this yourself-

you have to cc your head, and the dome, then work from there.

If we give you a number, there's no guarantee it'll work for the head you have.

        What I found with M10's.
