    Code 1222

Bentley says lambda 1, main culprits air leak and afm. My intake is all new rubber and looks to be in good shape.

The car idles rough and misses in the 2k rpm range. While its misfiring the econ guage is around the 0-5 MPG mark. When I got home from work I checked the intake boot and when I wiggled the connector for the afm the car almost died. It seemed to smooth out again when I stopped so I'm going to swap afms tonight with a spare and clean up the connections. What else should I be checking while I'm in there?

    Thanks!

intake leaks can come from a number of places besides the intake boot itself basicly anywhere air can get in, intake manifold gaskets, tb gasket, oil cap, valve cover ect... only good way to check for them is a smoke test, if the problem persists with the afm swapped go to a shop that has a smoke machine and have them run the test to pinpoint the leak then fix it.
