    passenger side oil sensor thingy?

    what is the sensor that goes into the passenger side of the oil pan i noticed that the wire is cut on mine nothing really wrong with my car really, just noticed when putting in new motor mounts.

    There is no sensor IN THE PAN except for the oil level sensor. Unless you're talking about the oil pressure switch in the block?

      The only sensors on the passenger side of the engine are the oil pressure switch and the CPS on an M20B25. The oil pressure switch screws into the block below the oil filter and just above the oil pan.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        yea it screws into the block but goes into the oil pan the wires to it are severed and idk where they go or what its for, but if it is the oil pressure switch my light isint staying on and when the oil does run low it turns the check panel light on.
