early icv to late icv wiring

    early icv to late icv wiring

    ok im looking as a temp solution when i swap in my I head/intake/throttle body to wiring in the late model icv with the harness i got from another harness when i got the icv from the jy.

    my question is would i be able to wire it up even as a 3 wire or is it a lost cause.

    the wires i have coming from the harness i chopped from the jy with the icv i got are all solid red/center, blue/right, black/left
    what wire does what and could i mock it up to work.

    You cant mix icvs with 2 and 3 pins if thats the question.

          the problem im coming across is using my icv with the new style intake boot and icv setup thats near the airbox instead of near the cold start injector im trying to make it be as complete as possible before i get the last couple things i need for the harness swap.

          im doing the head swap next weekend then come the next 50% off weekend im gettin the last couple things i need from the jy but in the mean time i wanted to retrofit the late model "L" style icv into my 2 wire stock one but im fine with just using my original boot and icv til i can get the last bits of the harness swap collected.

              You can't use the late model ICV with the M20B27 engine management system. And I don't think you can use the M20B25 injectors either. Wait until you have all the parts for the conversion.
              The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                the injectors i knew about cuz of being high impedence just the icv i didnt know
