    In most cases, any type of sealant won't last there. JBweld will.

      I pulled off the AFM and sprayed a bunch of CRC electronics cleaner in there, a bunch of oil was in there I think from the K&N filter or something. I also sprayed a bunch of Carb cleaner in the throttle and intake manifold, zip-tied a few of the hoses that might have a vacuum leak and put it all back together. Filled up the gas tank and put some chevron fuel injector cleaner stuff in the gas and the car runs reallllly smoove now, with a lot more power and better throttle response. Still need to get a smoke test done and investigate exhaust options. Here is a pic of the happy new owner (it is going to be her DD more than mine.)

        I suggest using lock tite to secure the elbow. I'm not sure of the number but they have a product that is used to repair interference fits for bearings. Clean really well and use their prep/cleaner and its a permanent fix.
