    Oil pressure issues?

So here is the deal, recently did a budget stroker on an 88' super eta. The top end was all basically replaced with the respective I parts. Its runs fantastic but I am running into one major issue. The oil light on the dash appeared at first flicked and then solid. Now the car is not knocking and is running perfect. Oil was changed Today and has a fresh 4.8l of 20w-50. The oil filter it self has about 500 miles on it or less. Oil was changed just for peace of mind after the stroker was completed. Car has 148,xxx and has had no issues related to oil leaks/ or pressure issues before today. Also on an unrelated note my oxygen sensor has been losing power on and off for a period of usually 10 secs +-5 secs. Im replacing the engine ground as a precaution tomorrow.
Oil pressure sender comes to mind but Im not 100% sure.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ignore the oxygen sensor wiring, exhaust wasn't complete at that point when picture was taken.

For all the time & $$ you've invested I would not leave a $5 oil filter in a fresh engine (or any engine for that matter) when changing oil. As for the oil pressure obviously check your connections & OP sending unit, but I'd get a known good external mechanical gauge on there asap (as in before I ran it again) to confirm whether you have a pressure problem or electrical.
