I purchased a new Mark D chip, added 17lb injectors and now my car, an 88 vert, appears to be getting too much gas and floods out after driving a short distance. Could i have gotten bad injectors? It appears the car is getting too much gas as i can smell gas in the exhaust. Any advice?

In my 1983 528e, I've been running A Mark D'Sylva E.A.T. performance chip, product# E30-027.5K5 in a used "027" DME/ECU, since 2004, which I documented here. It produces 122.3 RWHP, which is 15.8 RWHP over the stock chip in the old "008" DME/ECU, as tested on a Dyno Dynamics at York Automotive, Mt. Airy, MD. This is with the stock BOSCH 0-280-150-126 injectors and the 2.5 BAR 16.6 lbs/hr flow rate. With a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator, these injectors will deliver 18.27 lbs/hr. I am in the process of installing an MM modified cylinder head, discussed here and involves a custom chip from Mark to work with this head configuration, which involves a special cam, bee hive valve springs and several other changes. I am hoping to see somewhere between 148-165 RWHP (41.5-58.5 RWHP gain over stock), once everything is in place and fully sorted. With the exception of perhaps changing the FPR to a 3 bar regulator, there will be no change in the fuel injectors.
