      On top of the ECU in the glove compartment? That's where it is on my 528e, perhaps the same for your 3-series? Mine had a cracked solder joint that caused erratic idle.

        I might have found the culprit. I gotta wait for the weather to clear up. I looked at the o2 sensor under the car and the wire was touching the exhaust and then the wire was sitting in water under the bottom panel. I haven't had a chance to inspect it but I hope that's what is causing the fuse to blow.

            Fuse number 9 is fuel delivery idle speed so I would check those wires and make sure nothing is exposed and yeah haha do some wiring diags.
