    Fuel pump went out so I bought a Walbro 255 good choice?

    Bought a 100$ dollar pump was it a good choice does it at all help you with performance , or just waste my money and mpg?

    As long as the pump has enough capacity, but not too much, it will have no affect of performance or mileage.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      I bought Tre performance pump for $65. Works great...should not affect your mpg. Engine performance affects mpg.

        Out of curiosity, how could a pump have "too much" capacity? Isn't that what the FPR is for?

          If your pump is to big in flow rate it can over run the fuel pressure regulator and make your car run rich.
