    m20 24lb Injectors?!

I hear they are BARELY adequate for your average stock m20 at 14lbs if i'm not mistaken.

I say to hell with that!

Where do I start my search for some 24lb injectors for my m20b25?

    Thanks !

Dude 17 or 19Lb injectors or more than enogh for most modded m20s unless you have a turbo or 3 liter stoker your not going to need any more than that

True. I'm jumping ahead of myself. I envisioned the e34 afm conversion with a dinan chip.

I guess its to the 19lb e34 injectors for now then.

Also, ford 19lb injectors are also easy and inexpensive to source.

If your engine is completely stock (chip or not) you should put nothing more than 17lb M50 injectors in there. Otherwise it's going to be running rich for NO reason. Trust me, I've done this a time or two.

In my experience, unless there has been significant work done inside the engine to increase mass flow the OE 14lb injectors are more than adequate if they are clean and working properly. External mods (other than FI) don't significantly increase mass flow and don't count.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You should search this forum to see the many threads related to the use of 19# injectors and stock chip before plunging into this project. I can sum it up for you...rough idle, running rich, and no observable benefit.

Thanks for the pointers everyone. I picked up some 19# injectors today off an e34 and im going to have them cleaned and wait to upgrade my afm to the bigger e34 afm before installing them. Does anyone know exactly what is needed for this mod? Im sure a bigger throttle body will be needed but is there anything else im missing?

take your time and research. Google searches will bring up a million ways of doing this. a stock ecu with bigger injestors wont do anything. u can start collecting the parts and throw em when u have the complimentary parts but read and youll find it already out there
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
