so to make sure it wouldnt blow up you slapped it together "in a hurry" in a way that may have blown it up ?

    Makes sense to me

When I rebuilt my head I did the same thing. I freaked out when the exhaust started spewing a ton of white "smoke". It cleared up in 10 minutes and I've been good for 3 years!

Vac leaks in a TB aint going to "blow it up". I'm guessing he didn't rebuilt the engine (or half rebuild) it because of the TB. When I did mine due to busted valve springs I used my "old" but functional TB. When I knew the head was good and I wouldn't be dropping $1000 on a new engine and install I went and replaced more minor things.

i had the same thing when i just done with my HG job. This is what i did:

              1. poured 1/2 qt. of ATF into crankcase (ATF should clean up some gunk and leftover residue in the motor)
              2. Run the motor until normal operating temp
              3. Jack up the driver side of the car 1-2 inch off the ground
              4. Wait 1 min. then drain the oil and coolant
              5. Change the oil filter
              6. Put fresh oil in after everything is drained
              7. Pour in coolant and start to give the lower heater hose some sexual massage until you see no more bubbles coming out. Keep on doing the massage until the hose comes hot and the heater gets hot. It took me 15 min. to bleed that biotch. GL

I'm just quoting the OP. Slapping anything together to see if it works after doing major work is a contradiction as well as just plain silly.

The green wire from C104, can I bridge that into the DME or Does it have to go to C101?
Nothings wrong with my engine except starting it when its warm.
