^no, it needs to be adjusted when installed. Adjustment is the switch in relation to the throttle butterfly shaft.

I think how it's installed.
I remember long time ago on my old car I had the worst throttle response and idle at some point and it turned out my TPS wasn't "clicking" when you move the butterfly on the throttle. Took it off, unscrewed the 2(?) bolts for the TPS and installed it back on the throttle body to where it clicks again.Comment

^ yes, but again it is better to use a multimeter and see it switch open/closed rather than just having it "click"Comment
