Can i put a block out of an 87 325e into an 87 325is with an i head?

Yes. Swap out the block and leave all the top end stuff from the M20b25, thats the quick and easy way.
Id be a little better with an SETA block but you got what you got. -

To be perfectly honest, this swap isn't worth doing, with the possible exception of a turbo. But either way, unless you bottom end is dead you wont make more horsepower, just shift the torque lower and have a less efficient engine.Comment
