E36 trans with m20

I'm getting ready to prep my car for a s54 swap but sadly my m20 is ready to go out on me. I it misfires and will need a head gasket in about 10,000 miles so I'm going to replace it with a "i", engine I can get one with ecu harness and exhaust for relatively cheap but I want to know if anyone can tell me how it will act with the followinf

E36 m3 transmission
3.25 lsd
And a e36 m3 power steering set up

I figure when I have the engine out may as well swap it all out. Thoughts?

I don't think an M20 will mate to an S50/52 transmission, that's what I don't think...
