    A 325e, of any year, has the 55L tank and the dual pump configuration. You can replace that (transfer and external high pressure pump) with a late production 318is in-tank high pressure pump. But you will have to come up with a means of adapting the large in-tank output line to the 8mm line of the 318is pump. The in-tank transfer pump of the 55L tank and the 318is pump use the same level sensor, so that isn't a problem.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
