You can remove the plate (that holds the seal and O-ring) from the head. Did you do that? I'm getting ready to replace those parts for the first time myself, but you should be able to pry both out of their homes with basic hand tools once you remove the two 10mm bolts.

An appropriately sized socket and a rubber mallet should be all you need to fit the new seal.

got the seal and o-ring replaced. i have a seal puller but even with that i had trouble getting the seal out. had to c clamp it to a table and pull it out. putting the new one is was easy. i used a 38mm socket and just tapped it in. the o-ring came right off but gave me a little trouble with installing the housing. the new o-ring had to be tucked in w/ a screw driver while tapping the housing back in. everything cool noow except for the cam sprocket being 1 tooth off. i need to remove the belt tomorrow and reinstall.
