    Connecting rod cap differences?

I have a set of eta rods but I am missing the caps.. Any reason that I can't use I caps? The bearings fit right in.

Also are the e rods numbered to differ from cylinder to cylinder?

Bearing caps are not interchangeable. The cap and rod are honed to diameter as a unit.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Find yourself another set of rods with matching caps.

rods without caps = art, not engine.
