getting head resurfaced

So i am getting my m20 b25 head resurfaced and i was wondering if there is any way to make all the valves sit below the surface of the head without taking out the cam

yes, just knock the rockers out of the way. they slide when the clips are removed.

Unless this is a really low mileage head, like less than 50k, it would be a good idea to have the valves ground and new seals installed while the at the shop for surfacing.

he cant regrind the valves at his shop but he said he maybe able to send them away....for a fee
so once I take the clips off and loosen the rockers I can just pull the valves out.
how to you take the seals out/ replace them...just poke it out and push a new one back in

To grind the valves the head must be stripped down to the casting. Both the valves and the seats must be ground.

Google it...there are many good videos showing you how to grind the valves & seats.

what you do dont lap them except lightly to check the contact. lapping is not for fixing irregularities

So this shop has a resurfacing machine but can't grind valves?

Find a new machine shop and do it right!
