M20b23 with an m20b25 head?

Can I do it? I was going to put it on an m20b27 but if this would be better(maybe higher compression) it is now an option for me.

Lower compression, lower displacement. Not worth it imo

i think you'll end up with a nasty step as the 885 chamber is 84mm round and the b3 is 80mm bore.

the 731 ports are big enough for a b23, and it has the correct flat squish band. a cam works ok in the b23 they have higher CR than most of the factory m20

So now the question is: what to do with the euro car? Rebuild/upgrade the b23 or put the 2.7i in?
