    which is the right thermostat?!

    Im about to order a thermostat from the dealer ship, I checked on real oem and it shows two part numbers for thermostat! Is there something IM not aware of? the part numbers are as follows. 11531466174 and 11531713040 my car is a 1990 325i

    wow the same goes for the water pump -_- damit 11519070759 and 11519070758 lol someone help!!! will be greatly apreciated!

      The thermostats are rated at different temps: 71C and 80C. Taking into account your location I'd personally run the stock 80C.

      I recently replaced mine and used the 71C but it gets pretty warm down here. Hope that helps.

        You should use the same 80 degree C tstat that goes in all the M20's and which water pump depends on which year car you have.

        You may also want to try someplace like autohausaz.com or fcpeuro.com where you can get the OEM parts for half what a dealer will charge you
