new battery no start plz help!!

    new battery no start plz help!!

    So I replaced my battery when the old one died. I went to start it and all the lights came on for a second and then poof nothing. Now the car is dead no click from the starter , no lights no anything.....

    any ideas????

    Check the connections at the battery. You can check the battery's charge with a voltmeter. If fully charged it will read 12.7v.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      i did check the battery and it has a full charge....it just seems like nothing is getting through, the car is completely dead, no lights or anything.....possible relay dead?

        Loose connectors, clean your terminal with a wire brush

                Check voltage at the positive terminal under the hood to see if it has power. Also there is a fuseable link in the trunk if you follow the smaller wire next to the large positive one.

                  in the trunk?? I have a vert and the battery is located in the engine bay, does that make a difference?

                    yes, there is no fuseable link in a vert.
                    you either missed attaching a wire or incorrectly attached something.

                              on that red wire, that should be for an alarm. does that have an immobilizer? is the fuse in that black thing good? and are all the wires attached to the top of the positive side tight? if those dont have good connection then the car wont start.
