eta o2 sensor - stupid question..

    Pretty basic question here...
On an eta motor with automatic, is there a trick to getting to the oxygen sensor? I've got the (flat) tool over the wires and on the nut, but there's no way to get a ratchet or extension anywhere near the 3/8 hole. Very tight to the trans case. No way could you use a tall o2 socket from above I don't think.

Do you pull the exhaust mounts and stretch the exhaust down & away? Will I torque the exhaust manifold connections by doing that?

    Thanks -

This or vice grips. Make sure the plug is disconnected so it can turn without being twisted. Should only be a 2min job.

Well, good. It looks so simple but I just couldn't get at it.

        Thanks!

          Yep, that was easy!
7/8 or 22mm open end, from the trans pan side - pops right out.

          Thanks all -
