Another no start issue need help - no spark no fuel SOLVED

My e30 1993 325i cabrio will not start. New spark plugs, fuel pump already. Car cranks but won't start. Fuel not priming when key is turned. If I jump fuel pump relay the fuel pump works but car still won't start. Stomp teste the codes and it came out 1222. Does It sound like DME or maybe the main relay I need help.

SOLVED Crank Position Sensor was bad.

The pump does not prime when the ignition is turned on. The pump only runs when the DME sees timing data from a rotating engine. Does the engine have spark, does the pump run when cranking? Those answers are clues to where to look for the problem.

A 1222 is a Lambda fault, which can be the result of a bad O2 sensor but is more commonly from intake leaks. A smoke test will find any leaks and the O2 sensor should be replaced as scheduled maintenance every 100k miles.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

pump doesn't run when cranking. pump will only run when i jump the 30 and 87 on the relay but the engine wont start even if i do this and its getting fuel. Car was running then left for a few days now wont start. im gonna check spark tomorrow. all intake pieces were checked. would O2 sensor prevent start up?

The pump not running when cranking could be:

A bad fuel pump relay or a problem in the engine harness
No timing data to the DME
          No power/ground for the DME
          A bad DME

Is there spark when cranking? That would help narrow the search area.

So I checked spark and not getting anything on that end. So no spark and no fuel when cranked.

I ordered new main relay, fuel pump relay, and Crank position sensor as well as O2 sensor seeing how the car is at 100k and I don't think its ever been changed. After these part are installed ill know that the sparkplugs, fuel pump, relays, fuses, CPS are all new. FYI the water pump, acc belts, and timing belt are also new even thought these are probably irrelevant to the no start issue.

So if It still doesnt start after all this does that leave the DME or bad wiring as the causes? Thanks
