Downloaded the desktop dyno trial. It definitely seems a lot more accurate (or, at least sensical) than the ones I've used in the past.

          0.010" lash, lift @ valve
          0.10 mm 266 deg
          1.0 mm 217 deg
          Lift @ valve 10.08 mm

          American spec comparison
          212 deg @ 0.050"
The 0.10mm is the lift @ the valve. The 266 deg is the amount of crankshaft deg the valve is open @ that lift. The 212 deg # is for use in DTD.

There's an official trial on their site, but it's hard to find. It only lets you mess with a 350 but seems fully functional otherwise.
