Bosch 525 computer

Anyone have experience with this ECU?
i went to chip my 91 vert 325i and was expecting a 173 but found a redlabel 525, is this still motronic 1.3 what are the differences?

completely compatible with 173 chips still m1.3

525 is just an updated 1.3 motronic board. No real differences and they will both run each other's chips.
