    Injector issues?

So I pulled my injector rail out to rebuild my injectors and now no matter what I do the 1st injector leaks fuel at the intake manifold. ive even bored the fuel rail tabs so I can get the injectors further into the manifold, still leaks.
    Anything else I should try?

How are your o-rings? I found mine would leak every single time unless I used some type of lubricant

My o-rings are brand new,but that might be my issue!im guessing petroleum would be ok for lubricant right?

What I do is pull the dipstick while I'm changing the injectors and run a finger down the tip of the dipstick to get a little oil on it. Then rub the oil on the orings. Works like a charm every time. I usually install the injectors into the fuel rail first then install the entire assembly into the manifold while pushing evenly on both ends of the rail to make sure the injectors seat into the manifold.

I'm guessing your issues here is pinched or broken injector orings.

        Good luck!

Use Magic Lube on the O-Rings . Top and bottom. No joke. Creates a tacky seal using Teflon additives and such.

do you have the clips on? i found that the clips wouldnt fit if the oring wasnt seated properly in the rail. if the clips are on its possibly that the oring was damaged or there is some crud on the bore of the rail. yes a bit of oil to slip it in works well.

I got them in and I don't have a raw fuel leak anymore but my car now aruns like shit.im wondering if the injectors are working correctly after I rebuilt them but I don't have money to have them flow tested, any cheaper routes to make sure they're working properly?

Make sure the O-rings are on the correct indentation on the injector (towards the end and next to the pintle caps). They will fit higher up than they are supposed to and would cause leaks. I doubt you did this but it is a possibility after a few beers.

Oh,and digger, yes I do believe I got those clips on correctly so the injectors are good into the fuel rail.
