Found the Ticking Origin!!!

that could cause the rocker shafts to rotate and pop off the clip

I thought about that, but didn't ask, as I figured more than one clip would have jumped. I am curious to know the answer though, and to know how the op made out.

adjusted the rocker with the .25 feeler gauge

If that's the .25mm gauge, it's about right. If that's .025 inches, it's way too big.

And if it's .25mm, and the others are a lot tighter, might better loosen the others a bit...

I like the idea of the missing rocker shaft lock.
